ScanMeSite is built for entrepreneurs, solo business owners, side hustlers, gig workers, small business owners, and anyone looking to learn — people building something on their own, usually without a team behind them.

We cover two things: honest reviews of the business software and productivity tools worth paying for, and free tutorials — coding (Java, Python, HTML, CSS), product and project management, marketing, and Shopify — for people teaching themselves to build. No fluff, no marketing copy dressed up as advice.

ScanMeSite is built by BitMentors Inc., an Ottawa-based company that helps small businesses grow through hands-on consulting. We've spent enough time in the weeds with founders and small teams to know that most of what actually helps isn't a secret — it's just scattered, paywalled, or buried in jargon. So we try to put it somewhere useful instead.

That belief drives everything else we do: we focus on sharing what we know and on building software that makes a real difference in people's day-to-day lives — not chasing trends, just solving problems we've actually run into ourselves or watched someone else struggle with.
